Fabulous & Fun Ways To Raise Money...
and donate to the Arkansas Rice Depot

• Empty your pockets -- have your staff or co-workers "empty their pockets" for a day or a week for donation to the Arkansas Rice Depot.

• Have a Simple Pleasures sale.

• Have a "casual wear" or "jeans day" and pitch in $1, $5 or more for the privilege of dressing down at work. (Make sure the boss approves and will chip in, too.)

• Have a talent show that employees (teacher or students) pay to enter and attend.

• Have a Rice & Beans Benefit Lunch. A modest price for the meal could be collected and donated to the Arkansas Rice Depot.

• Encourage employees, club members or church members to write a check in honor or memory of someone special to benefit the Arkansas Rice Depot.

• Hold a silent auction.

• Hold a car wash.

• Host a casino night or bridge tournament.

• Host a sports event or tournament -- golf, tennis, bowling, baseball, etc.

• Have a bake sale and cake walk.

• Sell cook books.

• Have a home tour or decorator's showcase.

• Have a potluck luncheon and charge $3 or $5 per person.

• Host a carnival or circus -- complete with "clowns," dunking booth, etc.

• Have an art/craft/hobby show featuring individual "works of art."

• Host a walk or run -- or "non-run" (some people pay not to run).

• Sell t-shirts commemorating the fundraising event.

• Have a garage sale.

• Have a used book sale.
